When you are getting ready to take a trip, the hotel you are staying in may not be the first thing on your priority list. Giraffe Manor is, as its name implies, an old manor house complete with 19th-century period furnishings. What makes this hotel stand out is the fact that giraffes roam the grounds. It is not unusual for one of the gentle giants to literally stick its head in the breakfast room to get a treat in the morning!
Canopy Tower, Panama
A stay in Canopy Tower in Panama gives guests the chance to stand on a dome 30 feet above the forest canopy of Panama's Soberania National Park. Kokopelli's Cave Bed and Breakfast invites guests to travel 70 feet below the New Mexican mesa to stay in a spacious 1,650 square foot apartment literally built into the cave. It includes a full kitchen and laundry facilities, a hot tub, and a waterfall-inspired shower.
